Bookseller Application

We are excited to announce that we are expanding and we are looking for new booksellers to join our ranks. We have openings for part time and full time booksellers. The roles will be spread over our two shops in West Hampstead and Queens Park and potentially our third shop opening soon in East London.. Successful candidates need very strong book knowledge and bookseller experience is essential for the full time position. Both roles will require weekend working.

The roles will require:

  • The ability to recommend a vast array of books to customers from children’s books to adult non fiction.

  • Packing and fulfilling website orders for our growing online business.

  • Working both as part of a team and on your own.

  • Strong merchandising skills and an eye for presentation.

  • Excellent attentional to detail and good organisational skills.

    Pay:

    Full time bookseller role starts at £27,000 per annum.

    Part time bookseller role £14.85 per hour.

    Hours:

    Full time - 40 hours including five hours unpaid lunch break.

    Part time - 3 days per week (negotiable)
