Bookseller Application

We are excited to announce that we are looking for new full time bookseller to join our ranks. The role will be spread over our two shops: West End Lane Books and Queens Park Books and potentially our third shop, Columbia Road Books. Successful candidates need very strong book knowledge and at least 2 years of bookseller experience is essential for this full time position. This role will begin in March and the successful candidate will be required to work both weekend days until the end of year.

This role will require:

• The ability to recommend a vast array of books to customers from children’s books to adult non fiction.

• Packing and fulfilling website orders for our growing online business.

• Working both as part of a team and on your own.

• Strong merchandising skills and an eye for presentation.

• Excellent attention to detail and good organisational skills.

• A strong knowledge of book trends and upcoming titles for the year.

  Pay:

  Full time bookseller role starts at £27,000 per annum.

  Hours:

  Full time - 40 hours including five hours unpaid lunch break.
